Have you seen the calendar yet? If not you should check it out. Our new calendar will keep you informed on what we are doing and sometimes where we are going. See events as a list on the home page, or month and week views from the calendar section. If you are a registered user you can post your own calendar events. Much like your favorite computer application, you can add dates, times, locations, categories, reoccurring events, email reminders, photos, and so much more. You can even schedule your events with enrollments so that other registered members can accept and you can see who is attending. Give it a try!
By now you have seen the blogs, your reading one right now. Have you ever considered blogging? It took me a while to grasp the concept, until I realized that many of the topics posted on blogs, including ours, are the same topics I would be using for email but with one big difference. Freedom to include many more details including photos, music, movies, and so much more with a style that is unique. Once I tried it and discovered this freedom, and ease of use I was hooked. If you are a registered member of the web site, I urge you to try it at least once. If you like it and continue, email me for details on applications which you can use to post your blogs from your desktop, laptop with out logging into the web site.
What could be one of the most useful features of this web site is The WWW. If you haven't visited this section you should. For those of us who spend hours upon hours searching for reviews, products, software, photos, videos, research, etc on the great World Wide Web it can be pretty helpful to us and others to take what we consider the best of the best and place them in a central repository. How many times have you searched for something using Google, Yahoo, etc. only to find that the most helpful, or best web site was a link or referral from another web site and not linked to a search engines top 100 list. It's simple, if you liked it or thought it was interesting more than likely someone else will too. As a registered member you can add your links with photos, descriptions, and an optional RSS feed and feel free to promote your own web site while you are here.
