Paintball is a sport in which players eliminate opponents from play by hitting them with paint filled, breakable, gelatin paintballs usually shot from a carbon dioxide or compressed air powered "paintball marker".   This was our first time playing paintball and it was a blast.   Read all about it here, and check out the photos of our primitive camping.

Our 4th of July was pretty cool this year, literally.  Camping for the week of the 4th of July was cool, wet, sunny, exciting, and fun.

So here is a long overdue recap of what we have been up to for the last couple months.

Is the last year for the Cooper Stadium.  Built in 1931, it was renovated to its present configuration in 1977 and seats 11,000 in a single deck grandstand with an additional 4,000 overflow bleacher seats.   The Columbus Clippers played the Durham Bulls at the first 2008 Dime-A-Dog night.

Mark was approaching his 40th birthday and I wanted to do something special for this mile stone!  I started searching in June 2007 trying to find some place to go for a short vacation.  I looked at Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Florida, Phoenix and a few other cities.  Since this was a surprise trip and money could not disappear in large sums or else Mark would find out, I finally chose a cruise!  What other trip could I plan that would include lodging, food and entertainment for one price!!!
