It's true.  I am running for the office of President of the United States as an Independent.  I feel I am the perfect candidate to offer true change without the radical views offered by the normal politicians.

Wow what a summer!  I am finally getting some time to work on the web site. 

I have just finished uploading over 300 new photos to our flickr account so you can browse these in the Media section of our site at your leisure.  I was surprised to find so many photographs were still on the camera.

Paintball is a sport in which players eliminate opponents from play by hitting them with paint filled, breakable, gelatin paintballs usually shot from a carbon dioxide or compressed air powered "paintball marker".   This was our first time playing paintball and it was a blast.   Read all about it here, and check out the photos of our primitive camping.

Funny church bulletins.

What a week.  Sidewalk is poured, and cement is cured.  Everything looks great except something is missing.   Flowers, blocks, and lights..  Oh My!

Here we go again. 

Ever since we moved 2 years ago we have wanted to redo the front of the house.   One evening shortly after we returned from vacation Mark and I were standing outside looking at the house and planning what we were going to do to spruce it up a little.  Dad made the mistake of going for a motorcycle ride and was not home so we just started kicking and hammering... one hour later the sides of the handicap ramp were down and Dad returned home....       

Is the last year for the Cooper Stadium.  Built in 1931, it was renovated to its present configuration in 1977 and seats 11,000 in a single deck grandstand with an additional 4,000 overflow bleacher seats.   The Columbus Clippers played the Durham Bulls at the first 2008 Dime-A-Dog night.

Wendy wanted a new camera before we leave to go on vacation this week. She asked for my opinion and help picking out a camera. This is what we came up with.
